Multiple College Scholarships to be Granted
By Page's Memorial Foundation Scholarship
Over the past five years, Page's Memorial Foundation has been able to award nearly $100,000 in scholarships to students with CF and has donated over $121,000 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to further research for a cure. This year, Page's Memorial Foundation will be awarding scholarships totaling $15,000.
The Page's Memorial Foundation is offering multiple scholarships for college-bound students who have been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. Applications will be accepted from students between July 1 and September 1, 2009.
The foundation will award the recipients the scholarships at the 5th Annual Page's Run 5K on October 4, 2009, at Churchill High School in Potomac, MD. Winners must have a copy of acceptance letter and notification of school final decision before funds can be released to school. During the fall semester monies will be forwarded to the winner's selected school. The application and personal statement must be submitted to:

Requirements
- Current High School senior, college bound person, or currently enrolled in college
- Completion of the scholar application
- Proof of Illness: letter from physician (on letterhead) confirming CF diagnosis
- Documentation of academic achievement/transcript
- Minimum G.P.A. of 2.5
- Two letters of recommendation (non-family)
- A personal statement about yourself (essay information to follow)
